event! Nearly 600 youth and adult members really were mad enough to
participate in the weekend of action-packed monster madness fun! Midsummer Madness 08 (MM08) is a weekend gathering of members of all ages from across Inverness District Scout Council. It is a celebration of the birth of our new District and is also an excuse for a fun camp too! The emphasis of the camp is about fun activities, meeting members from other Scout groups and making new friends - all as part of an organised programme of activities run by adults from across the District as well as external activity instructors where appropriate. Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts will camp from the Friday evening to the Sunday afternoon and Beavers will visit the camp from the Saturday afternoon to mid-evening (departing after the campfire). "What's that coming over the hill?" There is definitely a monster theme running throughout MM08 - even the sub-camps are called Nessie, Yeti and Bigfoot! Which sub-camp will your Group be in?
